Body-Mend is a therapeutic approach to pain relief. The focus is on soft tissue (muscle, tendon, ligament,fascia) manipulation. Just as important as the bodywork are the techniques provided that are done at home to keep you out of pain.
The session work is done with clothes on and most often combines bodywork done on a mat on the floor as well as on a massage table. When you come for a session, wear loose comfortable clothes and be ready for a soft tissue workout! Women should avoid wearing skirts and dresses.

When you come for your first session you can expect a thorough intake that often includes the following:

A detailed health history to determine potential causes for the pain condition

Body alignment assessments to determine imbalances in the way one uses their body

Full explanation and demonstration of self myofascial release techniques using a softball and/or foam roller

A discussion of health goals with the work so progress can be tracked
This intake can take up to 20 minutes so the first session is an additional $10.
